The Shipyard

41°16'43.5"N 70°05'35.7"W

Previously the Nantucket Shipyard, South Beach Drydock, Grey Lady Marine and now the Great Harbor Yacht Club, this former saltmarsh has historically been dredged for deeper water access and marks the end of the built environment that boarders the Creeks to the east. The Great Harbor Yacht Club serves as one of six full service haul out and boat service facilities on Nantucket.
